Service Description

We explore the three-dimensional beauty of paper through hands-on experimentation with form and structure. Participants learn how simple techniques—folding, layering, and twisting—can transform flat sheets into sculptural compositions. By manipulating the paper’s surface and structure, we reveal depth, movement, and strength within a delicate material. We work with Malberry paper, known for its intricate fibres and natural texture. Its visible strands and organic patterns add a unique visual richness to every piece, allowing light, shadow, and form to interact beautifully within each composition. Through guided exercises and creative exploration, participants will discover how paper can become a dynamic medium for sculptural expression. The workshop encourages curiosity, experimentation, and an appreciation for the subtle elegance of handcrafted paper. The final pieces can be placed in a box frame. We can provide recommendations, but the frames are not included in the workshop unless arranged in advance.
